Definition of Bulletin Board

What is a Bulletin Board? 

  • According to Florence, Hillary in her article Importance of Bulletin Boards, a bulletin board is an important component of the classroom, because they provide a way to introduce new material or display students works.

  • The Merriam Webster dictionary define bulletin board as: “a board for posting notices and necessary information (as at a school)”

  • Bulletin board is defined by the Longman Dictionary of Contemporary English as “board on the wall where you put information or photos”
